In 2014, the Tabor family began to dream of CC Bradenton and in early 2015 God began turning the dream into reality. God is calling people to His work in this community and right now He is building His church. Dates, times, locations, and services are TBA. Email Willie Tabor here.
Connections is one way at CCWR to get to know others and God in a more intimate setting. We offer a multitude of small groups at two different times on Sunday morning. They are offered in the Student Center at 9am and 10:45am which coincide with worship in the main sanctuary. Be sure to ask for one of the current directories which contains a complete listing of all Connection groups. These groups meet on a semester basis and take Thanksgiving through New Years off as well as part of the summer. if you have any questions, please contact Dave Semones by call the church office at 478-922-0161 or email him at email@example.com.
Sozo is the Greek work for "saved, healed, delivered." Sozo ministry is a unique inner healing ministry aimed to get to the root of things hindering your personal connection with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. With a healed connection, you can walk in the destiny to which you hae been called. During a Sozo session the ministry team will meet with the participant, and with the help of the Holy Spirit, walk them through the process of healing from hurts, freedom from the offense, and wholeness. Our goal is to identify ways that we have become relationally separated from God, other people and from ourselves. Sozo is not a counseling session but a time of interacting with the Father, Son, and the Holy Spirit for wholeness and to equip you to successfully walk through life victoriously. One of the most practical ministries of our church is the "Bread From Heaven" Food Pantry. Every Thursday morning at 10:00 AM, we distribute a grocery cart of food to those in the Houston County community who are in need. We serve an average of 40 people representing 125 family members. We meet their physical need, but also desire to meet their spiritual needs through worship, preaching and prayer.
CCWR has passionately embraced the call to reach the world beyond the walls of our church. Beginning in our own community we feed the hungry on a weekly basis, provide housing for the homeless, and partner with an inner city minstry to impact the overlooked and forgotten in Fort Valley. We also partner with missionaries and ministries around the globe. CCWR currently supports a school in Honduras, an orphanage in Belize, Muslim children in Jerusalem, victims of human trafficking in Spain, a hospital for Bedouins in Jordan, college students in Belgium, and church planting in Albania. In addition, we have a desire to SEND missionaries out of our church and this starts with exposure. We believe it is vital for people to GO on mission trips as these trips change the hearts of people forever.
The goal of the Men's Ministry at Christ Chapel is to foster rapport among our men. More precisely, we seek to develop strong relationships among the men of the church, to build community and to empower men to step up to being the spiritual leaders in their personal walk with Christ, in their families and in the church. If you have any questions about the Men's Ministry, please contact Ken Hanson at 478-320-5533. Regular Men's Meetings: Sunday - 5:45pm-7:30pm in the Student Center Cafe. Discipleship Series: Thursdays from Jan 30 - March 6, 2014, 5:30-8:00 PM in the Student Center Auditorium.
Arise is a group of music-minded people coming together to grow their talents. Arise meets on Thursday nights at 6:00 PM in the main sanctuary.
Here at Christ Chapel, we place a huge emphasis on the investment of this generation. The youth that walk among us today are the very ones that will be running the world tomorrow. We know that the way you raise up a child is very significant because this is the way they will live their lives in the future. It is our passion to teach students how to live with integrity. We also want to help them understand how much they are loved. We do this simply by pointing them to Jesus. Everything we are will scream Jesus, and everything we live for is Jesus. Following Jesus will lead to a fulfilling life. Our desire is to model Christ in such a way that would lead our students to yearn for more of Him. Trusting in God alone to make this happen, we invite you to come and experience a group of students who chase Him relentlessly.
